Join Aaron Virgin of the Sarasota Audubon Society for a free guided nature walk around scenic Lake Patton in Lakewood Ranch. This leisurely, introductory walk focuses on birdwatching and enjoying the natural environment, with much of the route paved and accessible for casual walkers.

Participants can expect to spot a wide variety of ducks, shorebirds, and other native and migratory species—often 40 to 50 bird species on a single walk. Unlike wooded hikes, much of the bird activity here takes place above the lake, making it a great opportunity to “keep your eyes to the skies.”
