Community Events
Join us for Preschool Storytime, an engaging program designed for children ages 3–5 and their caregivers. Each 45- minute session features a mix of picture book read-alouds, songs, rhymes, movement activities, and early literacy games that support kindergarten readiness skills—like listening, taking turns, and following directions—all in a fun, playful setting.
How Parents and Caregivers Can Participate:
Preschoolers thrive when their grown-ups are involved! Sit with your child, sing along, and model how to listen and participate. Your enthusiasm encourages your child to engage and builds confidence. If your child is shy or active—that’s okay! Quiet encouragement, redirection, or a gentle break can help them stay connected.
This storytime is more than just reading—it’s a shared experience that nurtures a love of books and learning. Join us weekly and enjoy this opportunity to learn and grow together!
Please note: Our Storytime Room has a capacity limit of 40 people. When you enter the Kids Space, please see the library staff member at the desk to pick up a number (#1-40) to secure your spots for this event.
