January 14 – 20 from 6:30 to 10 PM at Waterside Place
As part of the Performance + Fine Arts Series, two local artists will share visual stories strategically projected around the town center and ranging in size from expansive three-story pieces to micro projections no larger than a shoe box. These moving murals are shaped to fit objects and surfaces for a mesmerizing optical experience. Visitors will be immersed in a diverse range of artistic expressions that will capture the essence of Lakewood Ranch showcasing the history of the land, the natural Florida environment, and the spirit of the community through the years.
The exhibit is open every evening from January 14th – January 20th from 6:30 to 10 PM. Grab a drink to-go from participating Beverages in the Street (BITS) vendors and enjoy 9+ projections located throughout the town center.
There will be a special Artists Talk event on Tuesday, January 16th at 7:30 PM where you can meet Dave Gordon and Elln Hagney, the artists responsible for the exhibits, explore their creative processes and the stories behind the art.
