🌱 Eat Local Week 2025: Rooted in Our Local Foodshed 🌱
Eat Local Week is back, and this year they’re digging deeper! As Community Harvest SRQ celebrates 15 years of community-rooted work, we invite you to join us for Eat Local Week 2025: Rooted in Our Local Foodshed, a signature annual program highlighting the farmers, producers, food artisans, educators, and advocates who nourish our region from soil to table.
This dynamic, week-long celebration brings together farmers, chefs, educators, artists, nonprofits, and residents to explore how local food connects to sustainability, culture, and community well-being. From hands-on workshops and chef demos to community conversations and a farm-to-table dinner, Eat Local Week inspires collaboration, supports our local economy, and encourages connection with green spaces, healthy food, and one another.
✨ We’re excited to welcome Eat Local Week back to the Lakewood Ranch Farmers’ Market on November 2nd, where Zildjian Catering & Consulting will host a special cooking demo featuring farm-fresh market produce. Guests can taste seasonal flavors, pick up tips and recipes, and learn new ways to bring local ingredients to their own tables. ✨
Whether you’re new to Eat Local Week or have been part of the movement from the beginning, this vibrant celebration invites you to dig in and be part of building a resilient future rooted in soil, stories, and community.
