Sights + Sounds at Waterside Place: Manatee Community Concert Band

The Manatee Community Concert Band performs a wide variety of music, from standard marches, Broadway and Movie hits, timeless swing classics, pop, classical and much more. Our goal has always been to provide the community a venue in which to perform as well as the opportunity to entertain our community with great musical selections. Members of our band come from all walks of life—collectively embracing over 2,100 years of musical experience. The expertise levels vary from members who have played in high school or college and now enjoy playing as a hobby since their retirement, to many who have been professional musicians for over 40 years, including some that have composed and arranged instrumental and choral music, and some that have directed their own bands.

Through the generosity of our patrons and supporters, MCCB provides high quality music to our community at little or no cost and scholarships to our high school and college members. During our last concert season, we entertained over 2,000 patrons and awarded $4,000 in music scholarships.
